Son of the soil, Ashley Kriel, was brutally murdered on 9th July 1987. 9th July 2017 is a chance to reflect on the sacrifices of so many and how much work there still is to do.

We are looking for fifteen screenings to be hosted to celebrate these 30 years.

We appeal to all youth, youth organizations, adult education organizations and community activist groups to send an email, tell us about what you do and why you want to host a screening.

IT’S FREE BUT WE NEED DONATIONS:
There is no charge for these anniversary screenings but a kind donation is requested. Donations may be collected from audience and given along with return of DVD. Donations will assist in clearing DVD distribution rights.

SCREENING REQUEST:
All screening hosts must have their own screening equipment.
DVDs will be delivered and collected again
Screenings outside Cape Town, South Africa will have to cover any postage fee.

All screenings should include youth.
All screening hosts will be asked to sign a non-distribution agreement.

SCREENING DATES:
Screenings dates must fall on the dates 8 – 18 JULY 2017 to coincide with 30th commemoration dates.
